Pricing a custom phone case for profit
A retail price is not a guess. Start from what each order actually costs you, decide the margin you need, and then check the number against what your audience expects to pay.

Start with the landed cost
Your cost per order is the production price of the case plus shipping to the customer plus any platform or payment fees. Production prices per case type are in your account and on the pricing page; shipping depends on destination.
Choose a margin, not a price
Decide what you need to keep per order after costs. For a small brand a healthy target is a margin that still leaves room for a discount campaign without selling at a loss. Work backwards from that number to the retail price.
Test it before you publish
The profit calculator on the homepage lets you enter a retail price and see the profit per order and per month at different volumes. Try three prices and look at how much the volume has to change to make the cheaper one worth it.
What moves the number
- Case type: tough cases cost more than snap, hybrid and TPU cases, and TPU costs the least
- Destination: EU orders ship faster and cheaper from Latvia than orders to the US
- Bundles: a case plus a matching earbuds case raises the order value without raising shipping much
Avoid the two classic mistakes
Do not price to the cheapest case on the market, and do not forget shipping when you offer free delivery. Free shipping is a price decision, not a cost that disappears.
